After nightfall Monday, the fire department dispatched two boats to rescue the occupants of a car under a flooded Interstate 35 underpass by Seguin Road.

Emergency personnel rescued a garbage truck driver after large amounts of rain flooded San Antonio streets on the Northeast Side.
